Backrooms Concept Series: A-Sync Research Utility Vehicles

This is a small tribute series inspired by the incredible work of Kane Pixels and A-Sync Research in the Backrooms project video series. I’ve always loved the eerie yet grounded world they’ve built, and I wanted to explore some utility vehicle concepts that could plausibly exist within that universe.

These vehicles are imagined as mid-sized, specialized units - larger than the small electric carts but smaller than the heavy semi-trucks - designed to navigate the larger industrial gates seen in Project KV31. These concepts focus on a fictional "Low Proximity Magnetic Distortion" (LPMD) system, Model VI, aimed at operational flexibility and utility within anomalous environments.

This was an exercise in having fun with the design process: exploring a balance of utilitarian function, plausible technology, visual storytelling, and branded world-building. I wanted to create vehicles that feel practical yet carry a bit of charm - grounded in realism but with a dash of imagination.
